I have set up a FREDA timer on my SkyDemon GPS and can not find a way of saving it so that I do not need to set it up each time I fly. It would if the timers could be saved.

You haven't said which device you are using, in the WinCe devices you simply input your message, set the time and press 'save' at the bottom right of screen.

I haven't seen the ipad version but I thought it would be similiar

I have the real thing, the Skydemon Mobile MD device. Have set up timers and saved them, but they have gone when I reboot the device. And I do have the most recent version of the software.

I don't think the timer capability is available on the iPad version - yet (hopefully)?

Are you exiting the software correctly? I think it tends to save stuff then.

Perfect and thanks - I now have timers that I do not have to set up each time I fly. Perhaps the documentation could be updated to explain how timers can be saved

Yes it was - the Save button does not do the trick on its own. Have suggested that the SkyDemon documentation makes this clear.
